Restore, rejuvinate, remember.
I'm excited to announce my first retreat taking place Friday 29th April - Monday 2nd May 2022.
Charity is a stone farmhouse dating back to the 15th Century, nestled near the English/Welsh border in the shadow of the Black Mountains and easy access to the Brecon Beacons. There are 20 acres of grounds and woodland for us to explore, a central courtyard with hot tub, barbecue, and fire pit.
The six unique bedrooms await you at the end of the day, each with green views and French linens. They have ensuite bathrooms (whether it's a bath, shower, or wet room) and can be arranged as a double/king/super-king or a twin room.
Bring a partner or friend, or let us know you're willing to buddy-up with another lovely yogi (you'll have the option of joining me for a pre-retreat get together in central London prior to our getaway so you can be introduced and break the ice, if you haven't met at one of my classes beforehand).
If you don't fancy joining in all of the five yoga practices included you can shoot some pool, cosy-up with Welsh blankets by one of the three open fires with a compelling read from the stuffed bookshelves, try your hand at croquet on the lawn, get toasty in the wooden sauna, dance under the disco ball (I cannot guarantee I won't indulge in some George Michael or Wham! greatest hits), or enjoy the home cinema.

A typical day on retreat.
7am
Wake up to the sound of the birds, or maybe a sheep peeping in your window - you've left London far behind. Come through to the kitchen and enjoy a cuppa or hot water and lemon and fruit to get your system moving before getting out of your jim-jams and into your yoga pants. Super-early types can even join me on a 6:30 sunrise run!
8:30am
Enjoy our first practice of the day - Ashtanga vinyasa style or maybe a flow to target your core strength.
9:30/10:00am
Now it's time for a real breakfast! Boiled eggs, sourdough or Brick Lane bagels, some of my favourite Jamie Oliver recipe granola, fruit, coconut yogurt, teas and Gentlemen Baristas coffee...
11:00am
Now's your time to spend as you wish. Time for a hike in the Brecon Beacons or Black Mountains? Some of the best views can be enjoyed from Sugar Loaf, Table Mountain and Pen y Fan. If you've driven, why not make a day of it and explore some local recommendations? Attracting foodies from all over the world, the Michelin-starred The Walnut Tree, Abergavenny, is a must-visit (book in advance to avoid disappointment).
1:00/1:30pm
We'll serve lunch for those who are at home. Maybe a fresh courgette, pea and mint soup with a hint of lemon, a salad of roasted butternut squash with feta and walnuts, or french beans and new potatoes in a homemade pesto, with some leftover sourdough from breakfast. After a hike and that yoga, why not unwind in the sauna and use the hot-tub as a plunge pool, while taking in the stunning views?
15:00/15:30pm
Afternoon tea is served! Chocolate brownies, or maybe a vegan sticky toffee apple cake, to tide you over until dinner. Find a nook to snuggle with a book, make use of the board games, take a nap or relax in your room.
17:00/17:30pm
Time for yin! Unwind your muscles and mind with a meditative practice. There may even be a grounding yoga nidra (yogic sleep), to leave you feeling like you've had two hours sleep in only around 20 minutes...
19:00pm
An early dinner is good for the digestive sytem and will aid restful sleep. We'll refuel gently with a creamy coconut chickpea curry and brown rice, or maybe imagine the rolling valleys are the Tuscan hills with a hearty risotto and side salad.
20:00pm
Retire to your room, settle around the firepit for some stargazing, or find something from the Blue-Ray DVD selection to enjoy on the surround-sound cinema with 7-metre projector screen.
