It's been a wonderful first few months of yoga on the Jetty.
In collaboration with Hej I'm delighted to offer the first mini-retreat - a cosy after-hours gathering to round off 2019.

Enjoy a perfect balance of yang and yin energy, with incense, essential oils, mini head massage, delicious snacks and coffee as standard.
Yin and Yang yoga
We'll begin like we do every other Sunday. We'll practice an hour of Vinyasa Flow - that's linking breath to movement - rooted in Ashtanga yoga, where a set sequence of postures are linked. As we move breath and body we can begin to let go of the stresses of the party season.
In the second practice we'll delve deeper into our stretches, working with the muscle fascia in a restorative and yin-based practice. Switching off the 'fight or flight' response and coming into 'rest and restore'.
Treats by Hej
We'll provide vegan teats and artisan coffee (decaf available!) or a little something else to warm you up int he half hour break between our yang and yin practices.
While we nourish our bodies we'll nourish our minds too, having the chance to consider some key questions about the year, allowing time for private reflection, thanks for the year past and intention setting for the year ahead.
